The EI Solutions’ A-Series desiccant dehumidification systems offer uninterrupted moisture control regardless of climate, operations or occupancy for a wide range of applications.

Desiccant dehumidification systems offer an effective solution to any application requiring room dewpoint temperatures below 50°F.

Reactivation heat is typically provided by a natural gas burner but can also be propane, steam, hot water or electric. The reactivation heater modulates in response to the moisture load meaning it never uses more energy than needed to meet current dehumidification requirements. Additional energy savings is provided by a desiccant wheel bypass reducing supply fan energy when dehumidification is not required.

The A-Series desiccant units employ a supply fan array. A supply fan array provides many benefits over a single fan including a) redundancy, b) higher efficiency, c) quieter operation, and d) easier maintenance and lower replacement costs. The performance and efficiency of the A-Series is optimized through the on-board controller’s proprietary programming. EI Solutions brings over 25-years of developmental experience to every logic loop that is written into the control sequence. The A-Series offers independent HVAC & Dehumidification functions so humidity control never needs to be sacrificed.

How it Works

A-Series delivers maximum moisture removal capacity by incorporating either the 200mm or the more energy efficient 400mm deep active desiccant wheel. The 400mm deep wheel delivers better moisture removal efficiency while transferring less unwanted heat back into the supply air. Better efficiency translates into energy savings and lower operating costs.

The EI Solutions A-Series product line is available in a wide range of standard and pre-engineered sizes. All units are designed to provide ease of serviceability. Access doors are located upstream and downstream of all major components.
